Travis will continue Minnesota's current focus to generate clean and renewable energy. By promoting the production of new technologies built in Minnesota to create more jobs and generate the power needed to fuel our economy, while reducing our need to import and waste non-renewable energy sources. Energy is vital to power our economy, so Travis will work to diversify Minnesota's energy portfolio to stabilize energy prices. Additionally, Travis will work to promote conservation of energy to further reduce the growth in demand for energy. A sustainable energy policy for Minnesota works for our people, our business, and our environment.
